come peel my cornhusk skin
In this series, I drew upon the metaphor of having cornhusk skin as an image of what it feels like to try to unlearn a colonized mindset. I printed these images in a cornhusk book. One must wet the brittle dry leaves in order to pry apart and view the images. These prints were made through copper plate acid etching.
