Mixtli Codex

This zine is meant to be a remix of imagery drawn from my childhood and culturally upbringing that I find visually analogous. I want to see what kind of themes and ideas emerge out of combining scientific imagery, video game graphics and ancient mesoamerican illustration together. This imagery tints my imagination similarly to the video game imagery of my childhood. In this zine, I try to make sense of these thoughts.
